The Cyrus Quattro brings several functions together in one compact chassis: a CD player and a preamplifier with additional inputs for, for example, a tuner, streamer or tape deck. Combined with the Cyrus Smart Power amplifier, it creates a complete system that takes up just two half-width Cyrus units.
The Smart Power is a smart power amplifier: it switches on and off automatically and can be linked to other Cyrus components via the Cyrus MC-Bus. This makes the system easy to expand later, for example by bi-amping with a second Cyrus power amplifier.
Sonically, Cyrus is known for a tight, detailed and dynamic presentation with plenty of rhythm and control. The characteristic die-cast aluminium chassis provides a calm, low-resonance foundation and gives the components their typical solid Cyrus look.
