Product Description

The New Horizon 201 is the entry model from Italian brand New Horizon, handmade by Audiomondo in Todi. It is a fully manual turntable with a solid, rigid plinth and the same core technology as its bigger brother, the 202.

The 20 mm thick crystal-clear acrylic platter (approx. 1.7 kg) runs on an inverted bearing and is driven by a silicone belt around its outer edge. The 24V AC synchronous motor is decoupled on springs and powered by an external supply, for calm and stable playback.

The 8.6-inch carbon tonearm is fitted with an Audio-Technica AT-3600L cartridge, the MM cartridge New Horizon supplies as standard with the 201. Speeds of 33⅓ and 45 rpm are selected by moving the belt.

This is a demo unit in good condition, at an attractive price.
