The RC-1590 MKII was developed as a reference preamplifier for demanding hi-fi systems. Analogue and digital sources are reproduced with natural expression, a wide and open soundstage and great clarity.

At the heart of the RC-1590 MKII is a power supply with two in-house manufactured toroidal transformers, feeding the analogue and digital sections separately. A high-quality 32-bit DAC handles digital sources, including high-resolution audio via the PC-USB input.

Connectivity is extensive: an MM phono input for vinyl, analogue RCA and balanced XLR inputs, coaxial and optical digital inputs, PC-USB and wireless streaming via Bluetooth with aptX and AAC. Outputs are available in both XLR and RCA, plus subwoofer outputs and a headphone output. Together with the Rotel RB-1582 MKII power amplifier it forms a powerful, perfectly matched combination.
