The Clearaudio Concept  Wood turntable continues the tradition of acoustic excellence of the award-winning Concept turntable. This turntable features a multi-layer Baltic birch plinth, which is both visually appealing and sonically rich and smooth. Equipped with a Satisfy Black or Satisfy Carbon Fiber tonearm, both equipped with a 3-point mechanical bearing, magnetic anti-skating and a permanently connected tonearm cable. The Concept AiR Wood is belt driven, with a low-noise, decoupled DC motor built into the Baltic birch plinth. The platter is made of 30 mm thick POM (polyoxymethylene), an engineering thermoplastic material with a weighted edge for an increased flywheel effect, which ensures greater speed stability. An electronic speed control dial allows speeds of 33rpm, 45rpm and 78rpm to be selected.
