The QED XT3 Power Cable EU has been developed as an affordable yet high-quality upgrade over a standard supplied power cable. It uses a version of QED’s X-Tube™ technology specially adapted for power applications.
The power conductors are made from 99.999% oxygen-free copper (OFC) and have a cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm². The special conductor geometry is designed to allow current to flow as evenly as possible through the cable while reducing unwanted electrical effects.
Despite its high-quality construction, the XT3 remains relatively slim and flexible. With an outer diameter of 10.2 mm, the cable can therefore be routed easily behind equipment and inside a hi-fi cabinet.
The XT3 has also been fully type-tested in accordance with the relevant European safety standards. This allows QED to combine high-quality audio engineering with a safe and robust construction.
