Enhanced Dynamic Headroom and Bass Response

The dynamic headroom of the MA8950 has been increased from 2.0dB to 3.1dB through a doubling of filter capacity. This improvement allows the MA8950 to reproduce musical peaks with reduced distortion, while delivering deeper bass, improved low-end performance, and superior bass control.

Advanced Digital Audio Module

The MA8950 comes equipped with the DA2 Digital Audio Module, an upgrade over the DA1 used in the MA8900. The DA2 features seven digital inputs, including two coaxial, two optical, a USB input, an MCT input, and an HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC). ARC allows compatible TVs to connect seamlessly, enabling crystal-clear, powerful sound through your music system. Dolby and DTS multi-channel audio formats are supported and converted to two-channel audio for precise stereo playback. The DA2 also supports DSD playback up to DSD512 via USB, catering to the most demanding digital audio enthusiasts.

Comprehensive Analog Connectivity

While digitally advanced, the MA8950 also excels in analog performance. It includes a balanced input, six unbalanced stereo inputs, and phono inputs for both Moving Coil (MC) and Moving Magnet (MM) turntables. The MC phono input features adjustable loading to fine-tune the sound of vinyl records. All unbalanced analog connectors are crafted from premium gold-plated brass for superior signal integrity and grounding.
