The Frog Gold is based on Van den Hul’s renowned Grasshopper series but upgraded with a powerful Alnico magnet and gold-wound 24k coils. This special edition is engineered to deliver an exceptionally detailed, warm, and naturally balanced sound signature.

It features Van den Hul’s proprietary VDH Type I stylus shape, designed for precise tracking and minimal record wear. With a low output of 0.65 mV, it requires a quality MC phono input, but the reward is a strikingly open, spacious, and musical presentation that reveals every nuance in your records.
